Tiny House Make Ready
Operation Tiny House needs volunteers to clean up and reorganize materials and supplies after a tiny house tour. Volunteers needed to clean windows, clean walls, sweep floor and organize and store supplies.
Tiny House Site Visits and Tours
Operation Tiny House needs volunteers to attract potential supporters using their social media platforms to visit the University Hills Veterans Housing Initiative for a quick tour and providing visitors with general information about our upcoming development.
Build For Love Volunteers
Operation Tiny House program need volunteers to participate at community event soliciting visitors to support Operation Tiny House monetarily.
Event participants are asked to support our mission by signing messages on lumber used to build tiny houses. We will provide all lumber and supplies need. Volunteers may be required to wear OTH shirts. If you are interested in your spare time attending community events and love meeting new people, please reply.
Parking Attendants
Operation Tiny House program need volunteers to assist with directing traffic in our parking lot during large events. If you have prior experience or willing to attend a training session please reply.
Donation of Appliances
Operation Tiny House needs countertop microwaves 0.7 to 1.1 cu. ft., mini fridge 3.5 cu. ft., portable air conditioner, 115 –Volt with dehumidifier function and remote (5,500 BTU or higher), electric tower heaters 1500 watts and Echosmart electric tankless water heater. Preferred color white.
Donation of Building Materials
Operation Tiny House uses: 2 x 4 x 8ft Studs, 2x4x10ft STD/BTR, 2 x 4 x 12 treated lumber, 3/4 in. x 4 in. x 12 ft. cedar boards, 5 x 8” x 6 x 8’ #2 WR cedar ft. pickets, 1x6 =12ft #2 tongue and groove boards, single hung vinyl windows and 200 sq. ft. of wood or vinyl flooring.
